About my paintings

Since childhood I’ve been interested in the landscape around me. Mountains, trees, clouds, a sunset, a creek or pathway through the rustic countryside intrigue me. Maybe there’s an old broken down fence, or a dirt road, possibly an old truck or weathered building to mark human passage.
Many of my paintings are of actual places while others are compilations of reference material or occasionally the product of my imagination. Some are started on site " En Plein Aire" while others are done entirely in my little studio here in Flagler Beach, Florida.
